Guys, why you all so tensed up?
Fico sessions are organised in mid-week for the enjoyment and/or as a form of training regime. They are not the official event that team members must attend. Till date, it has always been a "who-free-who-come" and "who-come-who-pay" event!
In my original posts, I did make a statement that this coming event is COMPLUSORY. However, this was all done in the fun of innocent taunting and said in jest. The further red-coloured smallest font statement at the end of the post was an additional intention to persuade team members to attend the event if they can. There are no malicious intent and words shld not be taken too seriously here.
To clarify,
Payment has always been made by players who attended the FICO event. To date, I believe only a small amt(a few dollars i think (CFO verify pls) has been utilised from team funds due to some discrepencies in the calculations and/or ease of calculation.
For example, the final bill might turn up to be $123.88. hence, normally we just use $120 to be divided amongst the players and the $3.88 from team funds.
My statement of Capt sanctioning the event does not mean that the cost of the session will be divided by all in the team, with or without attendance. It just means that capt sanction the team funds to be used for the end figures.
So let's not think too far and relate that the funds are being misused here. This is dangerous territory lei....:)
So in summary, forget about the whole issue of "who did not come must also pay" bullshit by Papa Soh ok?
It has never been practised and will never be practised in the future.

Wah... I saw united nations and north korea getting into a debate.... To clarify things we had never misuse funds.. So far the funds are only used on 4 times.

Funds used for fico sessions like what Bin has said juz balance.. For example.. 12 ppl comes down for fico session each pay $10 So total would be $120.. But if bill is 124.23. We would use $4.23 from funds to pay for the fico session.
You cant expect people to pay $11 den we would have extra money. It make no sense to charge ppl extra and those who are at home benefits from the extra money which would go 2 the fund. What we are using for fico funds are real peanuts for each session. Its not even $1 from each personal. If there is someone who can come up with a better idea of making sure the payment of fico is fair den i am open to suggestions!!!

It is nv my intention to pick a fight here, just stating how I think the funds shld be used. It is also not "aimed" at JB's effort to organise. I admire his effort to organise FICO. But we need to draw a line somewhere.. Thats all im saying..
On the other hand, what would have happened if theres no fund and we went to play FICO? Just a tot..
BTW, junbing: I do agree some "common sense" may avoid this whole issue.. but common sense is too subjective i think...
All in all, just wan to bring up this issue for discussion in good faith for the whole team so that we do not open some floodgate.
If i offended any one by simply trying to suggest some improvement to how our fund shld be handled. i apologise and this will nv come up again.

In fact I think that some things are better said properly in the first place.
Let's KIV this issue and bring it up in the next AGM. If need be, we can come up with a fiscal system like thief suggested for proper accountability.
My clarification post is meant to be transparent to the whole team especially those that only join us during the weekend games, lest they start to let their minds wonder after reading our posts, with no head no tails..... :)
Hmm...good post. I thought this time the FICO was to be fully subsidised by the fund and hence my comments. If it's not, then it is still as usual. Think somewhere I misinterpreted the.."War of the Words". Ha.
Spending a season as a treasurer b4, i can say its a thankless job. No point using BIG words or long sentences to bring across ur point.
Propose a simple feasible plan to our Mingyi Quan on how to effectively collect and monitor the funds.
And we all can see that some of the comments is longer than our recent match report. The amt of time and devotion to the comment can be greatly felt.
To ease the worries...should the funds be misused, our treasurer will suffer a worser fate than Durai.

I agree with Yan, thats why wouldnt it be much simplier for the treasurer if we just use the funds for on-match activities like buying match balls, jerseys or even sports drinks for after-match?
There will b no disputes and im sure for activities like fico it wun hurt for us to just bring some coins just like for kopi sessions. or is it time for a kopi session fund as well? haha..
Point noted since i got a dear friend who suggest bringing coins for fico.. I strongly suggest everyone to bring $29.99 so that there would not be any dispute when it comes to payments. But still there might dispute cause some one might pay half cent lesser cause singapore smallest coin is five cents but some ppl might over pay. Think i gona write in to MAS so that they have a half a cent or 0.1 cent thing so that "someone" would feel like he is not overpaying!!! LOL
haha.. this kind of things happen all the time during kopi ma.. 10/20cents shld b ok ba.. (i guess).. hmm..
I think that the matter here revolving around cents is not worthy of discussion at all.

If that's the case CFO, next time in future, all the end figures like $5 and below, no matter how many cents, charge it to me...(I will claim from capt privately)...hahahahahaha!!
